Job Description

The Specialist position will support efforts to study points of loss and momentum for STEM students with disabilities at institutes of higher education across the country. This is a short-term position that is anticipated to conclude work on 12/24/2025.

This is a part time (25% FTE), non-benefit eligible, unranked, academic opportunity that will average approximately 15 hours per week. As an hourly position, this position is paid biweekly and requires submitting time on timesheets.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated experience organizing sets of data files into an integrated data system
  • Demonstrated experience preparing data with varying units of analysis, structures, and formats
  • Demonstrated experience preparing data user artifacts such as codebooks and reusable code
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks and projects with overlapping timelines.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
    Experience with Research in a Higher Education environment
    Experience preparing data using a syntax based statistical software program
Anticipated Hiring Range

$23.99/hour commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity.
