We are looking for our next great team member to join us in filling the position of Executive Housekeeper.

The Executive Housekeeper leads the overall cleanliness, presentation, and housekeeping operations of the hotel, ensuring a five-star guest experience. This role oversees room attendants, public area staff, laundry operations, and housekeeping supervisors while maintaining the highest standards of luxury, hygiene, and service.

What you do each day:

Leadership & Operations




  • Direct, train, and support all housekeeping and laundry staff, including supervisors.



  • Develop and implement housekeeping SOPs, ensuring brand and quality standards are consistently met.



  • Coordinate daily room assignments, inspections, and cleaning schedules to maximize productivity and room readiness.



  • Oversee all laundry operations to ensure timely delivery of linens and guest items.




Guest Experience & Quality Control




  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, public areas, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas.



  • Ensure immediate resolution of any guest concerns related to cleanliness or room presentation.



  • Collaborate with Front Office and Engineering to ensure seamless room readiness, maintenance reporting, and guest satisfaction.




Staff Management




  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members.



  • Create staffing plans and manage schedules based on occupancy and business needs.



  • Monitor performance and provide coaching, recognition, or corrective action as needed.




Inventory & Budget Management




  • Maintain inventory and ordering of linens, cleaning supplies, amenities, and uniforms.



  • Oversee cost control, labor expenses, and departmental budgeting.



  • Work with vendors to manage supply quality and contractual agreements.




Health, Safety & Brand Compliance




  • Enforce hotel hygiene policies, OSHA standards, and safety regulations.



  • Ensure adherence to brand standards for luxury guest experiences.



  • Lead training on sanitation, chemical handling, and emergency procedures.




Does this sound like you?


  • Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Director of Housekeeping, or Assistant Executive Housekeeper in a luxury or upscale hotel.



  • Strong leadership, training, and organizational skills.



  • Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and labor costs efficiently.



  • Exceptional attention to detail and guest service mindset.



  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with other departments.



  • Knowledge of PMS/housekeeping management systems (e.g., Opera, HotSOS, Alice).



  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.



  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs as required for inspections and operations support.
