Overview
Principal Objective The Beauty and Haircare team is seeking a Senior Manager, 360 Creative Operations to join their NYC office. This role is crucial for guiding global campaigns for the assigned haircare brand cluster from beginning to end, spanning concept, design, and execution. The Senior Manager works closely with the Executive Director, Creative Operations, to establish a best-in-class creative process and streamlined ways of working across the brand cluster. This individual is a key problem-solver, maintaining a deep understanding of every project detail, from strategic planning to specific project management logistics: timeline, scope, and resourcing. Reporting to the Executive Director, Creative Operations, this role is responsible for establishing, facilitating, and maintaining workflow and communication between the Creative and Marketing teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end creative program management for all new product launches and brand projects, ensuring on-time execution and alignment with marketing briefs.
- Manage the 3-year Creative Roadmaps for the haircare brand cluster, establishing key milestones and proactively highlighting deadlines to cross-functional partners and the creative team.
- Develop, optimize, and lead change management of creative processes and creative workflow tools (e.g., Wrike) to drive departmental efficiency.
- Partner with the Executive Director of Creative Operations to implement systems and frameworks that support seamless collaboration between creative, production, and marketing teams.
- Manage resource allocations and capacity tracking for the Creative Team (via tools like Float), assessing workload demands across brands, prioritizing projects as needed, and communicating resource risks to the Executive Director.
- Manage the maintenance and ongoing use of the creative project management tool (e.g., Wrike), identifying opportunities for improving its configuration and fostering team adoption.
- Oversee the approval workflow of all 360 program assets, including the approval of concepts, video storyboards, video outputs, pre- and post-shoot 360 assets/layouts, and regional variants.
- Communicate project risks and resolution to all internal stakeholders.
- Lead various cross-functional meetings-including Leadership Reviews, Brand GM Reviews, and Resource Allocations-and effectively set up the presentation of creative work, documenting and circulating clear notes and next steps to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management for an in-house creative team or agency.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Prior experience working on digital and social creative is preferred.
- Strong collaborative partner to both the creative team and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive and positive approach, consistently presenting solutions and striving to solve problems.
- Comfortable presenting creative work to senior leadership and running high-level meetings.
- Flexible attitude and ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
- Experience being the main point of contact for internal or external clients.
- A natural leader with excellent communication skills.
- Loves solving problems and managing conflicts.
- Possesses a deep understanding of project management, workflow, and infrastructure.
- Experience using Wrike, Asana, Monday, or other project management tools to develop project plans, assign tasks, and report on program status.
