This role will be remote.

This position reports to the Director of Customer Success, Loveland Products and requires that the successful candidate lives within the described geography, with 50-60% travel required within the geography. The Account Manager will be tasked to work closely with Nutrien Ag Solutions management as well as Loveland Sales Managers to ensure strategic/long term sales growth of the LPI product line, by performing the following duties:

What will you do:



  • Identify, foster and maintain strong relationships with designated region and divisionalcontacts and cultivate the support of Loveland Products strategy and products.
  • Act as key contact for targeted customer relationships to gain a deeper understanding of their business and business needs to co-develop customized value offers that build a successful and sustainable business partnership. Continually review account performance against business plans and seek regular feedback from account contacts on Loveland Productsperformance.
  • Facilitates communication at all levels of the account encouraging alignment, through interaction with Regional/Divisional Account Contacts and Lovelandpersonnel.
  • Foster mid to long term growth through direct calls, workshops, seminars, product presentations and training and product benefit communications with key account contacts.
  • Collaborate with Loveland Area Sales Managers, Territory Managers, other Account Managers and relevant stakeholders, for the development and implementation of tactical business plans for key accounts that include innovative and sustainable offerings, sales growth targets, and strategic alignment to Loveland Products.
  • Collects relevant customer and competitive information, and communicates it to internal stakeholders as necessary.
  • Lead, champion, and comply with Nutrien, industry regulatory, and SH&E standards.
  • Utilize and leverage available digital technologies to complete work accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform other related duties, as required.



What will you bring:



  • Bachelor's degree required; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 8+ years' experience in sales or marketing management in Ag related area.
  • Strong sales ability with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, outstanding communication capabilities, and the ability to influence others at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work effectively with other groups in the organization to achieve a common goal.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of agricultural products and practices.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • The highest ethical standards and sense of accountability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Word, and Excel.
  • Clear and effective decision making, with emphasis on data-driven approach.


Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role, in California, is between $115,900 - $198,600. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
