Operations Clerk

Grand Rapids, MI

Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm

Position Overview
H.B. Fuller is seeking a detail-oriented Clerk I to support facility operations through administrative and clerical excellence. This role ensures smooth communication, onboarding, purchasing, and compliance processes. Flexible scheduling and part-time options are available.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including file management and report distribution

  • Coordinate onboarding tasks (SAP access, training programs)

  • Manage indirect purchasing and maintain expense tracking

  • Deliver and track safety, quality, and EHS training

  • Support internal and external audit preparation

  • Organize site events and maintain meeting room logistics

  • Lead community engagement initiatives (CAC)

  • Serve as backup for shipping clerk duties as needed

  • Support front office operations by overseeing entry access and buzzing in approved visitors

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years administrative experience

  • Proficient in organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous work history is manufacturing setting

  • Experience with SAP systems

  • Familiarity with ISO audit processes

  • Knowledge of EHS and 5S practices

  • Event planning or coordination experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $20/hr - $24/hr.
