What You'll Do

Use hands or hand tools to secure, mount, or bolt parts into place

Use power or air-powered tools to secure, mount, or bolt parts into place

Disassemble and reassemble parts to ensure production

In this Function You Will

Follow safety procedures in order to maintain a safe work environment

Use hands or hand tools to secure, mount, or bolt parts into place

Use power or air-powered tools to secure, mount, or bolt parts into place

Disassemble and reassemble parts to ensure production

Read production orders to determine material requirements or assembly instructions Communicate with teammate to assemble product

Use paint, polish, sand paper, or lubricant to finish product

Lift products on and off production line

Package, prepare, or tag products in order to be shipped

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Remain standing for an extended period of time up to 10 hours

Able to perform constant movement of the arms

Preferred Skills

Mechanical- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses.

Production and Processing- Knowledge of raw materials, production processing, and quality control.

Active Listening- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.

Reading Comprehension

Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
