Genesis10 is seeking a IT Project Manager for a 12+ contract position with our client located in Milwaukee, WI. This role is 100% onsite to start, but will convert to a hybrid schedule after training Summary: The Project Manager will work with our client's network telecommunication infrastructure leadership, PMO/PCO, and financial staff to manage portfolio project schedules, budgets, and vendor coordination. This role will be responsible for overseeing telecommunications-related projects, ensuring compliance with PMO/PCO governance, managing third-party vendors, and supporting contract negotiations. The Project Manager will also assist in developing, tracking, and reporting project progress while maintaining alignment with network infrastructure installation schedules. Responsibilities: Manage delivery and cost schedules for multiple projects (1 10 concurrently). Maintain project schedules within Microsoft Project and coordinate resource allocations in PWA. Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and accruals. Coordinate project meetings, review progress, and escalate issues for corrective action. Identify and manage project issues, risks, and late delivery items. Submit PO requests, track delivery confirmations, and ensure accurate invoice processing. Enforce job site safety standards. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with PMO/PCO governance. Support contract bidding, vendor negotiations, and project financial management. Coordinate and monitor work with third-party vendors, reporting status to the PCO. Oversee permitting processes and ensure compliance with construction and network standards. Facilitate site turn-up of equipment, acceptance testing, and network infrastructure installations. Participate in change management (IT CAB) as required. Support licensing and funding for special telecommunications-related projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Experience with Microsoft Project and PWA. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reconciliation. Proven experience with third-party vendor management. Skilled in contract bidding and negotiation. Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies. Experience with construction purchasing, standards, and designs. Background in network infrastructure projects. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in project management within telecommunications or construction. Advanced Microsoft Project/PWA expertise. Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and accruals across multiple projects. Ability to read facilities and floor plan schematics. Knowledge of ordering and installation of radio, network, antenna, and line equipment.
