$69,073-$82,836 Application Window Open date: October 10, 2025 Next review date: Monday, Nov 10, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Apr 10, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The University of California, Irvine Department of Physics and Astronomy anticipates making up to two offers for Postdoctoral Scholar positions in both theoretical particle and astroparticle physics beginning in September 2026. We are seeking candidates whose expertise lies in astroparticle physics, beyond the Standard Model physics, collider physics, cosmology, and neutrino physics. The theory group faculty members include Kevork Abazajian, Mu-Chun Chen, Jonathan Feng, Manoj Kaplinghat, Shirley Li, Arvind Rajaraman, Michael Ratz, Yuri Shirman, and Tim Tait. The group is complemented by large and diverse experimental particle physics and astrophysics groups; see The Theoretical Particle Physics Group for additional information. The successful applicant(s) will have a Ph.D. degree; salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
