Your impact on the team
As a District Sales Manager (K-12 Sales), you'll be responsible for overseeing and driving sales performance within Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales individuals, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals. The District Sales Manager will provide coaching, training, and support to the sales team, helping them improve their skills and performance.

Candidates must reside in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, or Ohio. This position requires 70%+ of travel in your territory with some overnights needed. Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

What is this role about?

  • Drive K-12 core market sales revenue through leading/coaching a team of sales professionals.
  • Travel with sales team to support development and implementation of sales plans and strategies.
  • Establish effective working relationships with key educational officials and other VIP's in your territory.
  • Demonstrate effective personnel management. Hire, train, motivate and manage assigned Sales Reps.
  • Develop and allocate regional sales goals/expense budgets accurately and appropriately to sales staff.
  • Forecast regional sales results and inventory needs regularly and accurately.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to internal stakeholders on product needs, market conditions, promotional activities, business opportunities, sales trends, and competition strategies/activities.

We're looking for someone with...

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.

  • 5+ years of success in K-12 educational sales, including ed-tech and district-level integration.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, web-based presentation tools, and CRM systems (Salesforce).

  • Strong sales analysis, forecasting, and budget management skills.

  • Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams; experience with market research and product-driven insights.

  • Willingness to travel extensively; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

As this position requires traveling by car, we require candidates to have a valid driver's license with the ability to drive a car in the designated territory.

The pay range for this position is between $108,000 - $130,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
