Welcome to the Emergency Department at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center! TheEmergencyDepartmentwas completely renovated and expanded in 2021. There are 38 privatetreatment rooms, adedicated behavioral health area, 8 flex chairs, and two large trauma rooms. Our EmergencyDepartmentsees over48,000 patientsper year. Gaingreat experiencetaking care of patients ofall ageswith various medical conditions! We arewilling to train!PreviousEmergency Department experience is notrequired.

We are currently hiring nurses with at least 1 year of RN experience.

*Nurses who do not have ED experience will take part in ourBridge Programforadditional training. *

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 1-2 years RN experience required.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.

This position has a hiring range of $37.50 - $54.92
