Job Description

NetImpactis seeking a motivated Junior .NET Developer with exposure to ML.NET, containerized application environments, and Kubernetes (K8s) orchestration-preferably using Rancher. This role is ideal for early-career developers who want to deepen their technical skillset while contributing to modern, scalable applications in a federal consulting environment.

Responsibilities
    Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET applications using C#, .NET 6+ and related frameworks.
  • Integrate ML.NET models into application features under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Build and deploy containerized applications (Docker) within Kubernetes clusters.
  • Support configuration, deployment, and monitoring of workloads running in Rancher-managed K8s environments.
  • Assist in implementing CI/CD pipelines as part of an Agile development team.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, testers, and product owners to refine requirements and deliver working software.
  • Write clean, maintainable code following established standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and solution design discussions.


Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in related technical discipline
  • 1-2 years of experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) development
  • Experience building or integrating ML.NET models
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts
  • Familiarity with Rancher or other Kubernetes management platforms
  • Must be eligible to meet government eligibility requirements (US Citizenship required)
Preferred
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core, REST API development, or microservices
  • Hands-on work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Prior federal IT or consulting experience
