Job Description

This is a 2nd Shift Position with hours being Monday - Friday, 1:45pm - 10:30pm.

YOUR ROLE

As an Auto Dispensing Technician on 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 1:45 PM-10:30 PM), you'll set up and operate automated dispensing equipment, follow production and quality documentation, do some hands-on cleaning and basic equipment set up, and work both independently and as part of the team depending on the night. The pace is real - there's a sense of urgency because this is production - but the goals are attainable and no one's standing over your shoulder with a stopwatch. We'll train you thoroughly, and as you grow, you'll take real ownership of your work with minimal supervision. This is a role where your effort shows and your contributions matter.

JOB OBJECTIVE: To assist in the packing, filling, and/or labeling of various product components with automated product finishing equipment. Focus on delivering exceptional results by adhering to safety protocols, maintaining rigorous quality standards, meeting delivery deadlines, and continuously improving productivity. Contribute to a culture of operational excellence to achieve company objectives and exceed customer expectations.

CORE DUTIES:

1. Locate and collect components needed for product assembly.

2. Setup and operation of the automated product finishing equipment.

3. Operate all equipment in accordance with department safety and quality guidelines.

4. Accurate documentation of processes using production paperwork and computer data entry.

5. Cleaning and basic troubleshooting of automated product finishing equipment.

6. Assist in inventory reconciliation and annual deep clean and cycle count events.

7. Cross train in all production work areas that correspond to the Level 1 Product Finishing Career Grid.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School diploma or proven work experience that ensures you are ready to be successful in this role.

2. Demonstrated competency in general math.

3. Demonstrated good organizational and prioritization skills.

4. Demonstrated general computer knowledge with working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, and Word, and ERP System.

5. Proven ability to work in a team environment.

6. Able to learn and work quickly and accurately.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Prior experience in the operation of several types of filling and packaging equipment in a production environment.

2. Strong mechanical aptitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Ability to work in a clean room environment.

2. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, lab coat, etc.).

3. Ability to work in a laboratory environment.

4. Ability to work in an office environment.

5. Manual dexterity to dispense products.

6. Ability to manually manipulate objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

7. Ability to move up to 300 lbs. using a dolly and 500 lbs. using a pallet jack occasionally.

8. Ability to transition between ambient and freezers up to -20 degrees C.

9. Ability to remain stationary for several hours at a time.

10. Ability to position oneself in low positions multiple times per day.

11. Ability to move in repetitive motions throughout shift.

12. Visual acuity for quality inspections.

13. Ability to use computer / Microsoft Office applications.
