Creative Marketing Director

We are seeking our new Creative Marketing Director to join the Axway team!

We are seeking a visionary Creative Director to shape and elevate the brand identity of our global software company. This role is an individual contributor position-ideal for a highly creative leader who thrives in concept development, design storytelling, and brand guardianship.

The Creative Director will partner closely with marketing, product, and executive stakeholders to deliver impactful creative concepts and assets that strengthen our brand presence across digital, web, campaigns, events, and customer communications.

Creative Strategy & Brand Leadership

Serve as the creative lead and brand steward, ensuring visual and narrative consistency across all global touchpoints.
• Translate complex software and technology concepts into compelling, human-centered creative.
• Shape and evolve brand guidelines, voice, and visual identity.

Concept Development & Execution

• Develop bold, innovative, creative concepts for global marketing campaigns, product launches, and digital experiences.
• Collaborate with internal marketing teams and external agencies to bring creative ideas to life.
• Produce high-quality visual assets, including campaign concepts, website creative, event materials, and executive presentations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with the website, content, demand generation, and communications teams to align creative with business objectives.
• Provide creative direction to agencies, freelancers, and vendors as needed.
• Present creative concepts and design rationale to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Innovation & Storytelling

• Drive fresh ideas, design trends, and storytelling techniques that differentiate the brand.
• Advocate for design thinking and user-centered creativity across the organization.
• Continuously push for creative excellence in all marketing and brand initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in creative direction, design, or brand leadership, preferably in B2B technology or global software companies.
• Proven portfolio showcasing impactful brand storytelling and design innovation.
• Expertise across digital, web, print, video, and multimedia creative formats.
• Strong conceptual thinker who can translate strategy into bold creative solutions.
• Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.) and comfort collaborating with agencies/vendors.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present creative ideas persuasively to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, influence cross-functional teams, and lead creative vision without direct team management.
