Loudoun County, Virginia is looking for a skilled and motivated Revenue Manager to join the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). This position establishes short and long-range priorities, goals and objectives, coordinates and ensures completion of complex projects, prepares revenue budgets, performs trend analyses, recommends County policy related to revenue programs, oversees the selection, supervision, evaluation and discipline of revenue staff and performs additional duties as required. This is an opportunity to contribute to the success of the County by ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and services are delivered effectively to the community.

Job Summary

What You'll Do:
- Revenue Forecasting: Develop and present revenue estimates as part of the annual budget process and help to monitor revenues throughout the year. Help to refine the County's long term revenue estimates to optimize resource allocation.
- Legislative Analysis and Special Projects: Review legislation from the Commonwealth of Virginia and Federal Government to understand the fiscal and operational impacts to Loudoun County. Independently manage special projects to develop recommendations for senior management.
- Provide Expert Guidance: Work with departments to understand their operations and help to identify data and process improvements to enhance revenue forecasting efforts. Make recommendations on when to perform fee studies and help to identify key outcomes and how to implement the results of studies.
- Leadership: Directly manage staff and serve in a leadership role for cross departmental projects.
- Innovate: Work in an environment that prioritizes creative thinking and high-quality customer service. You'll contribute to forward-thinking projects in budgeting and long-term development forecasting.

What We're Looking For:
- A passion for local government and significant experience forecasting complex revenues for a large organization.
- Leadership skills with an ability to manage staff and coordinate countywide projects and groups.
- Strong technical skills with experience developing complex models to forecast revenues.
- An understanding of the legislative process and experiencing reviewing and determining the impacts of legislation and special studies.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, or related field; four (4) years of related work experience in government budgeting and planning; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
