Command, Control, Intelligence, and Encryption (C2I&E)

Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator supports shipping, receiving, and inventory control while ensuring compliance with Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Customer Furnished Property (CFP) requirements. Working under the Contracts Production department, this role reviews contract shipping/reporting requirements, coordinates with internal teams and external carriers, and maintains GFP/CFP accountability in alignment with FAR and DCMA standards.

Core Logistics Responsibilities

  • Review contracts to determine shipping, packaging, and reporting requirements.
  • Package, ship, and track outgoing orders using carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS, freight).
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and equipment against purchase orders.
  • Deliver received materials to the appropriate staff or departments.
  • Prepare and complete all shipping/receiving documentation.
  • Support cross-training with Production, Inventory, and Quality teams to ensure operational coverage.
  • Other duties as assigned

GFP/CFP Responsibilities

  • Receive, log, and document condition of all GFP/CFP.
  • Maintain accurate GFP/CFP records in physical files and electronic systems, including the online GFP Module database.
  • Conduct routine spot checks and lead the annual physical inventory of GFP/CFP.
  • Proactively manage GFP inventory to support contract close-out activities.
  • Serve as point of contact with DCMA for GFP matters.
  • Perform and support both internal audits and DCMA audits of GFP processes.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR 52.245-1 and company GFP procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or trade certification preferred).
  • 3+ years of shipping, receiving, or logistics experience; familiarity with government property requirements a plus.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and perform warehouse tasks (standing, bending, carrying).
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with online shipping/purchasing systems.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident) due to export-controlled materials.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience handling Government or Customer Furnished Property.
  • Familiarity with ITAR and FAR compliance.
  • Exposure to ASTM D-3951 (Commercial Packaging) and MIL-STD-129 (Military Marking for Shipment and Storage).
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills; able to follow and maintain written procedures.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
