Department Job Title: Maintenance Technician Shift: A Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5AM - 3PM Location: Solon, Ohio Daily and weekend overtime may be required Requirements and Tasks This position will support theFacilities Manager and the Maintenance Department in continual process improvements to increase safety and machine uptime.
Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy. .
Knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment; ability to adapt as needed.
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Knowledge of the factors that influence productivity and ability to maintain focus on organizational factors that maximize operational performance.
Knowledge of various automatic control systems, processes and methodologies in a manufacturing environment; ability to design, implement and maintain automatic production systems/processes to improve productivity and efficiency, as well as minimize human intervention.
Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update and store them.
Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing safety; ability to achieve safety and security requirements of manufacturing staff and work environment.
Knowledge of various areas of mechanical assembly expertise, skills and techniques; ability to perform mechanical assemblies and subassemblies and related tasks such as material procurement, process development, fabrication, and testing.
Knowledge of robotics technologies and computer applications working principles and operation manuals; ability to implement and operate them in an automated manufacturing environment.
