As our new Manager, OpEx, you will play a pivotal role in developing our Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiatives at our Hayward, CA facility. You will collaborate with a world-class team to implement proven strategies and ensure flawless execution of key projects! Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field. Preferably, they hold an MBA, MS, or a similar technical graduate degree. Being a Certified Black Belt with a strong grasp of LEAN Manufacturing principles is crucial. They should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in business operations and/or plant manufacturing or engineering, with at least 3 years of successful process improvement experience. Physical Demands and Working EnvironmentThe physical demands of this position include standing for sustained periods, walking long distances, and moving from one work site to another. The role requires talking to convey detailed information and hearing to perceive sounds at normal speaking levels. Close visual acuity is necessary for activities such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, and performing visual inspections involving small defects or parts. The job involves sedentary work, with occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force. While the worker is primarily protected from weather conditions, they may be subject to temperature changes. The role also includes exposure to various physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, electrical currents, high places, high heat, and chemicals. The worker will be exposed to sufficient noise levels that require shouting to be heard. Compensation is a significant consideration as you advance in your career. At Baxter, we ensure fair pay and transparency in our salary practices. The estimated salary for this position will be $130,000.00 annually, influenced by factors like skills, experience, and location.
