Temporary Production Associate, Part-time

Pay: $24.12 per hour

Available Schedule (31 hours per week):
* Monday - Tuesday, 5:00AM - 10:00AM
* Wednesday - Thursday, 5:00AM - 1:00PM
* Friday, 5:00AM - 10:00AM

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage starter culture inventory (FIFO)
• Supply cheesemake with starter needed for each day's run.
• Daily inspection on each culture freezer, defrosting freezers when needed.
• Performs environmental clean-up of area to prevent phage contamination in the starter room area.
• Checking received inventory and timely unloading of culture deliveries.
• Data entry in R12 system and CHR Hansen database.
• Recordkeeping.
• Collecting samples and sending samples for testing.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
  
  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18years or older
• Able to read and comprehend the English language
• Ability to do basic math (addition and subtraction)
• Must be able to tell time on an analog or digital clock
• Ability to use computers and touch-screen technology
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places, and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock.
