Description The Infrastructure Systems Engineer participates in the implementation and maintenance of technologies and platforms supporting a complex corporate infrastructure. Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful: Job Duties Maintain, monitor, and support the infrastructure environment Monitor systems, identify performance issues proactively, resolve issues and prepare status reviews and reports Maintain documentation of all system builds and modifications Deploy application and systems into complex Cloud and on-premise environments Work with IT support groups to help perform root cause analysis of issues and identify solutions Participate in after-hours systems implementations as required Document and implement system change control in response to organizational policy changes and scheduled implementations Provide 24/7 support with rotating on-call duties after hours within predetermined and agreed upon service expectations Essential Skills Minimum one year experience in providing systems support for complex on-premise and Cloud environments Experience in managing enterprise wide Linux and Microsoft server environments Experience with enterprise server and datacenter technologies Experience with recovery methodologies and technologies supporting an enterprise wide environment Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, data networks, virtualization, IT security, web servers and storage technologies Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, effectively handling a variety of responsibilities Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders Analytical and problem solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction Familiarity with Azure Cloud is preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred Certification/License: Microsoft and/or Cloud Azure certifications preferred Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 \| Rocklin, CA 95765 \| (HYBRID) Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $75k - $90k annually + annual bonus Benefits options include: Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage 401K matching up to 5% per pay period Accrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment 11 paid federal holidays Special employee pricing on lending products such as mortgage, auto, and personal loans (eligibility for special employee pricing is subject to standard account requirements and underwriting criteria) What makes First Tech different?
