Positional Summary The Assistant Director manages the marketing and branding of the Center for Multicultural Affairs in addition to providing programs and services in the areas of community engagement, multicultural education, social justice education, and leadership development. They collaborate with Student Affairs units and academic departments when appropriate. The Assistant Director also advises student organizations and acts as a liaison between the Center for Multicultural Affairs and various university administrative offices and academic departments as well as the Durham community and professional organizations. Campus and community associations empower the Assistant Director to develop and apply the latest knowledge and research in education and training.
