Job Description

Radiant Power is looking for a Production Planner to join our Manufacturing team.




This position is located in Sarasota, FL and is full-time, Monday - Thursday. This is not a work from home position.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Requirements

This role will be responsible for developing the production schedule to meet customer and company needs as well as coordinating on time delivery of necessary components and raw materials.



GENERAL DUTIES:




  • Plan and schedule all production assembly activities based on customer orders and required stocking levels.
  • Create job orders and assign picking lists from inventory management system as production requirements demand.
  • Manage and complete all production reporting and inventory transactions in inventory management system.


  • Interface with other departments (Engineering, Quality, Production, Purchasing) to resolve problems with timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor resource requirements to assure schedule requirements are met.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS:




  • BA/BS, or APICS certified desired.


  • Minimum of 5 years of production planning in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience with an aerospace or automotive manufacturing company.
  • Proficient in the use of ERP/MRP systems.
