Genesis10 is seeking a Project Manager (PBM) for our client in the Pharmacy Industry. This is anticipated to be 6+ month Remote / Contract opportunity.

Pay Rate $55.00ph - $70.00ph DOE

Job description:

  • Knowledgeable in pharmacy industry/health plan industry
  • Willing to work multiple time zones (including California)
  • Able to work unsupervised, ability to drive results with strong project management skills, and strong organizational skills.
  • Advise clients on approach, strategy, QA, governance, management reports, program setup, and lessons learned from previous implementations.
  • Set up mechanisms for measuring and monitoring the performance of the PBM throughout the transition process.
  • Provide and manage a standard project schedule of critical tasks for PBM implementations.
  • Advise clients on additional functions for the project plan and upcoming key milestones.
  • Manage proactively any scope, schedule, or budget changes.
  • Communicate impact to relevant stakeholders for sign-off.
  • Possess a strong aptitude for identifying cross-functional dependencies and collaboration with other work tracks to monitor dependent tasks or schedules.
  • Review project baselined schedule, critical best practices, and advise on areas where clients often need additional resources.
  • Provide weekly status from the company's perspective throughout the project. At completion, officially close the project and secure client review and signoff.
  • Review and document lessons learned throughout the project.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all critical deliverables from the PBM.
  • Participate in readiness planning meetings. Assess and advise clients on implementation readiness.
  • Provide consultative advice on testing/QA preparations, strategy, and resource allocations.
  • Advise and assist clients with ongoing risk management and issues.
  • Provide oversight of outgoing PBM activities to ensure the successful completion of the PBM transition.
  • Advise and assist clients with activation planning, command center planning, and issue resolution protocols.
  • Provide review and guidance on testing results, defect resolution, and plan for implementation readiness.
  • Provide 30 calendar days of post-production support, including managing and advising clients on post-go-live issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external project teams to provide implementation support and guidance.
  • Prepare and perform research on the subject matter that is being presented. Consistently share best practices and lessons learned in forums with the client. Assist with the refinement of the Company requirements library and other project documentation.
  • Establish strong working relationships with internal and external project team members and stakeholders. Address concerns, manage expectations and provide timely responses to inquiries.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that may impact health plan or PBM operations.
  • Demonstrate consultant behaviors in all interactions, including interrogation, empathetic and communicative abilities, listening skills, and creditability.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience related to pharmacy within a healthcare setting, with health plan and pharmacy benefit management experience strongly preferred


Extensive knowledge of pharmacy benefits, including a working understanding of:

  • Benefit designs and formularies
  • File exchanges (eligibility, accumulators, claims)
  • Pharmacy networks
  • Configuration and testing of pharmacy benefits
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Project Management Institute PMP certification preferred
