Genesis10 is seeking a Kubernetes Administrator for a contract position with our healthcare services client. This will be a remote opportunity. Compensation: $55.00 - 62.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience level. Description: We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Administrator with experience supporting GKE environments to join our team. This role will focus on operational support, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting while collaborating with the primary support engineer. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Administer, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, primarily in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Provide operational support, including patching, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Assist the primary support engineer in day-to-day cluster operations and escalations. Manage load balancing, certificates, and networking configurations within Kubernetes environments. Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance. Qualifications: 3-4+ years of experience as a Kubernetes Administrator. Hands-on experience with GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine). Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. Knowledge of load balancing, certificate management, and networking concepts. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to challenge existing practices and contribute to process improvement. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proactive and innovative mindset.
