The Role You'll Play

  • Strategically shape the direction and impact of all career services, supporting both current students and alumni as they explore internships, full-time work, and continued education.
  • Serve as a key liaison between MSOE and high-profile regional, national, and international employers.
  • Lead and drive a best-in-class experience of the Career Connections Center - from career fairs and resume workshops to networking events and industry partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with faculty and academic leaders to ensure alignment between curriculum and workforce trends.
  • Oversee operations, budgets, staffing, and professional development of the center's staff, driving continuous improvement in service quality.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven leadership managing career service operations within higher education, workforce development or comparable settings.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree in higher education, counseling, business, or related field preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in developing partnerships with external constituents and stakeholders.
  • Experience with career management platforms, CRM systems, and emerging technologies (including the use of Artificial Intelligence in career services).
  • Strong knowledge of a college/university recruitment ecosystem.
  • Willingness to work extended hours three times per year to support career fairs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and stakeholder groups.
  • A commitment to student success, equity, and access.
