Role Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Human Resources, the People Experience & Internal Communications Manager is a key HR leader responsible for strengthening Owner-Associate connection, recognition, and community impact across The Kendall Group. This role leads engagement strategies throughout the lifecycle-from onboarding to alumni relations-while ensuring our culture, vision, and values are consistently reinforced. This manager partners with leaders company-wide to keep the Owner-Associate experience central in major initiatives and acquisitions, and oversees internal communications, recognition, and community impact programs that connect, inform, and inspire. A hands-on builder and collaborator, this leader thrives in a dynamic environment, elevates the Owner-Associate experience, and manages a team that includes the Communications Specialist and HR Administrator.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the People Experience & Internal Communications Manager position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

- Lead strategies and initiatives that strengthen Owner-Associate engagement and connection across the Owner-Associate lifecycle, from onboarding through alumni relations
- Design, implement, and analyze engagement and pulse surveys; provide statistical insights and actionable recommendations to business leaders
- Partner with leaders and managers to help them understand survey results and translate feedback into meaningful action plans
- Collaborate across the company to ensure the Owner-Associate experience is thoughtfully considered in significant initiatives and acquisitions
- Provide expertise and facilitation for culture-building, change management, and other company-wide interventions that enhance the Owner-Associate experience
- Oversee internal communications strategy and execution, transforming complex business and HR initiatives into clear, compelling, and accessible content
- Develop and deliver communications across a range of channels including intranet, digital communication boards, video, email, events, and social platforms
- Partner with HR and business leaders to support communications related to benefits, compensation, talent management, leadership initiatives, acquisitions, and company changes
- Identify, design, and execute improvements in how content and communications are delivered to continuously improve the Owner-Associate experience
- Lead Owner-Associate recognition programs and key cultural touchpoints, including service recognition, ESOP events, and quarterly business reviews
- Champion community impact programs, including charitable giving, scholarships, and outreach efforts, reinforcing The Kendall Group's culture, vision, and values
- Develop strategic partnerships with leaders across the company to align engagement, communications, and cultural initiatives with company objectives
- Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively, maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting company objectives
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support the success of The Kendall Group and its Owner-Associates

What you'll need:
- Work Experience: 5 years of experience in corporate/internal communications, including project management, communication plan development, and strategic stakeholder engagement; 3 years of experience leading engagement and employee listening initiatives in a large company, with demonstrated expertise in designing and executing surveys, analyzing data/statistics, and translating insights into actionable strategies; 2 years of experience overseeing recognition programs, communications strategies, or community impact initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in industrial psychology, human resources, communications, organizational development, statistics or a related field
- Analytics/Computer Skills: Experience working with MS Office--Intermediate to Advanced PowerPoint; ability to gather and analyze data and usage/engagement metrics to help drive strategic decisions; Business and HR acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analytical abilities
- Organization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in fast-paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environment
- Cross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally; provides excellent internal and external customer service

Qualifications we prefer but don't require:
- Work Experience: 7 years' experience developing messaging, communication strategy, campaigns, and enablement materials within Human Resources (HR) for a large, complex organization; 7 years' experience leading engagement and employee listening; Proven experience writing and developing communications for executives and senior leaders, with the ability to translate complex initiatives into clear, concise, and compelling messages.
- Education: Master's in I/O Psychology, Organizational Development or related field
- Computer Skills: Experience using HTML, Photoshop, content management systems, web publishing, and social media tools
