Description and Requirements

We are hiring an Associate Software Engineer to join our Moto team. The Strategic AI software team is responsible for integration and performance tuning at the system level, ensuring quality and reliability of signature Moto AI experiences. This team works on cutting edge hardware and software for the mobile market. As a Software Engineer you will have the opportunity to learn and develop some of the most valuable skills in the industry, develop you careers and have a tangible impact on this evolving field of technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Performance evaluations
  • Data gathering
  • Analysis of problems and patterns
  • Creating effective solutions for optimal performance on a variety of handwear platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Experience with embedded software development preferably on non-computer devices
  • Proficient in C++, Python, Java, Kotlin
  • Familiar with operating systems such as Linux, Windows, or Android
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer. We are unable to sponsor work visas for this position.

This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, Illinois. The requirement is three days in office/week. The base salary budgeted range for this position is $77,000 - 90,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo's various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
