The HR Generalist will work collaboratively with the HR Manager/Business Partner to align with leaders in their designated divisions/departments to enable the successful performance of employees, leaders, and the business. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the assigned management team to understand business issues and opportunities and assist them in developing HR initiatives to respond to those needs. Participate in weekly meetings with respective division/departments
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Working with the HR Director to resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Manage leave of absence process for all employees
- Partner with management and employees to improve work relationships,
- Work collaboratively with our talent acquisition staff, conduct strategic staffing initiatives for assigned divisions/departments by identifying sources of applicants, conduct and analyze exit and stay interviews
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Process offer letters for promotions and transfers, and support the successful onboarding of new hires
- Lead new hire onboarding, including E-Verify, new hire set-up, and coordination with payroll
- Coordinate with talent acquisition to set up onboarding
- Subject matter expert for performance management assistance
- Administer FMLA in accordance with Federal and State laws
- Administer employee disability leave claims
- Assist HR team in pulling data for monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics
- Ad-hoc reporting for various company divisions/departments
- Maintain electronic personnel files and other HR files in compliance with file retention requirements
- Update changes in HRIS and/or audit job title changes, pay changes, status changes, etc.
- Work with HR team to ensure each location has all legal notices required, and manage ongoing notices to remain compliant
- Complete employment verifications and unemployment requests as necessary
- Provide support for HR projects (i.e., open enrollment, system implementations, wage review, compensation surveys, etc.)
- Other duties, as assigned
Minimum Requirements: Education - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred. Experience - 3+ year broad-based HR generalist experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities -
- Strong influence and facilitation skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions in a manner consistent with Company values
- Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all divisions, departments, and employees in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to travel to all locations, as necessary
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, ever changing work environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within specified time constraints
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to roll up your sleeves and take on any task to support the team and the Company

**Pay rate range $28 -$32 USD per hour based on experience** In compliance with applicable Pay Transparency laws, Alliance Technical Group provides a range of compensation for job postings within locations that have these requirements. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The pay range for this position is depending upon the qualifications and direct work history details for the most applicable candidate.
