Laborer

Potrero Hills Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Landfill Laborer to join our team in Suisun City, CA! This is a full time, long term position with a reputable company.

The days of the week are subject to business needs and seniority, but the schedule may include Saturdays. Shift can start as early as 3:30am or as late as 9am. This is a union position with union pay scale and union benefits.The starting pay will be 25.30/hour. The pay range for this job is $25.30 - 29.76/hour.

Responsibilities Include:

* Spotting Trucks

* Cleaning Equipment

* Picking up litter

* General site cleanup

* Driving employees to their work stations

* Helping out with scale house duties: cash handling, computer work, customer service.

* Performing other assigned duties at the landfill

Requirements:

* At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor type position.

* The ability to continually lift up to 75lbs repeatedly throughout an 8hr shift.

* Proficient on computers.

* Experience operating equipment is a plus.

* Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift

* Mechanical ability a plus.
