An Entry Level Electrical/FPGA Engineering job in Platteville, WI 53818 is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and 0-2 years of relevant experience. We are looking for December 2025 or May 2026 graduates for this entry level position.
Job Duties:
This is an exciting opportunity for an eager, entry level candidate to gain experience working in a regulated industry. This position offers the potential to perform a broad array of tasks related to electrical engineering activities. Specific types of engineering-related activities may include HW/PCB Design, requirements definition, and validation; Programming FPGA; technical collaboration; assisting in the resolution of technical problems; and developing electrical engineering related tools or documentation. In many cases, this position will join a team doing similar work and receiving mentorship while gaining valuable work experience on real products in the aerospace industry
Required Qualifications:
* Ability to perform basic electrical/HW engineering skills after an initial training period.
* Have an understanding of electrical engineering tools and process (i.e. debugging, problem reporting, etc.)
* Possess knowledge of electrical programs and applications
* Experience with FPGA's is strongly preferred for this position
* Familiarity with one or several of the following: FPGA development and simulation, embedded system design, MS Excel, Agile Scrum, elemental analysis, fixed-wing, rotary-wing, or space systems
* Completed Bachelor"s degree or progress on Bachelor's degree in applicable engineering or science field (i.e. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering)
* Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is a requirement
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $62,500 to $67,500. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
