Department Summary The University of North Texas System Office of Strategic Infrastructure delivers outstanding and enduring products and services that maximize value while supporting the mission of each campus. Services include real estate, planning, capital improvements, authority having jurisdiction, and procurement. Position Overview Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Infrastructure, the Deputy Vice Chancellor has leadership responsibility and accountability for programs pertaining to facilities life cycle management to include but not limited to planning, design, construction, real estate, engineering, life health & safety, and all associated administration, as directed by the Vice Chancellor. Minimum Qualifications The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a large, complex organization; licensed Engineer or Architect or demonstrate breadth of experience and education combination that enables effective management and problem-solving acumen with high-risk, large-scale facilities programs; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Experience leading large scale complex capital programs, from planning to implementation.
