Mergers & Acquisitions:

* Facilitate the tracking of the M&A process through all phases (intake, diligence, integration, and post-close).

* Conduct research on geographic markets in support of acquiring companies and/or opening new offices.

* Organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure the action required is addressed in a timely manner using an online acquisition platform.

* Create reports and other documents as needed, using Microsoft Office Suite products and/or online acquisition software.

* Manage the tracking and follow up on M&A report deadlines and deliverables in the online acquisition platform.

* Administer and maintain a M&A file database and documentation.

* Coordinate the processing of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA's) for review, signatures, and follow up for fully executed copy.

* Support deal teams with reporting, research, and preparation of materials.

* Participate in the mergers & acquisitions process through attending in M&A sessions, assisting with all phases of a M&A Project, from initial contact through due diligence and closings/post-closing requirements.

* Provide logistical and communication support for M&A meetings.

Corporate Development:

* Prepare, transcribe and distribute meeting agendas, notes and follow-up communications, i.e. meeting minutes.

* Coordinate the logistics and details of offsite and on-site meetings.

* Manage confidential information with discretion.

* Provide support to the EVP and team with ad hoc requests and market research.

Strategic Projects:

* Lead project lifecycles for strategic initiatives (e.g., process improvement, systems implementation) as directed by the EVP, Corporate Development & Operations and other executive leadership.

* Build and maintain project plans, setting clear objectives, milestones, and success metrics for each initiative; proactively managing deadlines and deliverables.

* Facilitate the coordination of working sessions and track action items.

* Provide research and analysis in support of process improvements/system rollouts.

* Maintain project documentation, templates and tools.

* Identify and mitigate risks and adapt to resolve bottlenecks.

* Manage project documentation and leverage tools, templates, and best practices to enhance project governance and delivery.

General:

* Report directly to the EVP, primarily in a support and coordination capacity.

* Handle tasks with judgment and escalate when appropriate.

* Demonstrate initiative and organizational skills.

* Be available to travel for occasional out of office to other ECS facilities.

* Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working in project management support, preferably in a M&A environment.
  • Valid driver's license is required if driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary.
  • Good knowledge of the full M&A lifecycle process.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure, meet strict deadlines and navigate intensively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • "Ownership" mentality displayed through anticipating and beginning tasks before being asked.
  • Ability to develop key relationships and an understanding of internal processes to facilitate workflows.
  • High level of integrity and discretion.
  • Highly motivated and can work independently with minimal supervision.
