IT Automation Intern Summary:

As the Technology Support Intern, you will participate in training and projects within various corporate information technology support functions: maintenance, troubleshooting, installation of personal computers and peripheral equipment, etc. This full-time, paid internship is based out of our Walsworth - Eau Claire office. This internship lasts approximately 12 weeks, with an 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday schedule.

Note: Intern interviews are planned for October 2025.

Essential Functions:

* Assist with implementation and maintaining print automation systems including Pageflex Storefront, Adeptia Connect and Enfocus Switch software.

* Assist with creating scripts to support automation, using Powershell/Bash/Python.

* Work with SQL server to maintain company databases including developing and maintaining stored procedures and SQL queries.

* Assist with supporting end users in the use of company's Information Systems.

* Assist with developing software and reports as needed.

* Provide basic Microsoft Office application support

* Provide basic Adobe application support

* Provide end-user support for Microsoft Outlook products and functions

* Assist with corporate anti-virus protection system operations

* Comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.

* Complete other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Basic understanding of IT support functions

* Understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe products

* Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.

* Ability to remain organized and self-directed

* Ability to interface with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.

* Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.via face-to-face conversation, email and phone calls

Minimum Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent (required)

* Have reliable transportation to and from the assigned office location (required)

* Completion of at least 12 credit hours towards a related degree program (preferred)

* Experience in an IT support role (preferred)

* U.S. work authorization is required along with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

  • Completion of at least 60 credit hours towards a degree program OR completion of at least four semesters of college (preferred)
