    Minimum starting pay rate: $20.71

    Responsibilities:
    1. Observe and guide student behavior and enforce all school rules and policies in the building's hallways, lunchroom, commons, and parking lot.
    2. Greet visitors at entrance doors.
    3. Assist a classroom teacher in supervision duties as needed.
    4. Address student to student conflicts.
    5. Escort students throughout the building as requested.
    6. Deliver discipline slips to classrooms.
    7. Provide assistance during an emergency.
    8. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

    Qualifications:
    1. Previous experience working with elementary and high school age students preferred.
    2. Evidence of good interpersonal skills with students and staff.
    3. Evidence of good judgment in crisis situations.
    4. Evidence of self-motivation.
    5. Evidence of punctuality and reliability.
    6. Evidence of flexibility in assignments.
    7. Willingness to receive training.
    8. Ability to maintain a calm, courteous demeanor when dealing with students and adults who are angry/upset.
    9. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
