Clark Nexsen seeks to hire a Mechanical Engineering Student on a part-time basis during the academic year beginning in January 2023 to continue to full-time during breaks. A mechanical engineering student will have the opportunity to work within the organization's Automation Controls (ACI) or Industrial departments. Working with the ACI group will provide them with exposure to control concepts, control devices, process and instrumentation diagrams, and process flow diagrams. Working with the Industrial group will allow them to learn material handling concepts, implementation of scanning and point cloud technology, and mass flow balances. This position is not eligible for employer based sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification. General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Working Conditions At JMT, we prioritize a healthy work/life balance and offer a flexible hybrid working schedule. The selected candidate is expected to work in a JMT office location at least three days per week or as needed to perform assigned duties. While most of our work is desk-based, there may be times when standing, walking, bending and lifting of minimal weight are required.
