The School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (https://chbe.gatech.edu) at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA invites applications to a Research Scientist (Open Rank) position in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. All areas of chemical and biomolecular engineering are of interest. The Cheung lab is seeking a Research Scientist (Open Rank) at Georgia Tech. The position will conduct research related to developing sustainable solutions to improve soil fertility.

This position will be responsible for conducting experiments related to soil fertility, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in this area of research, contributing to research articles, and assisting PI as needed.

This position vacancy is an open rank announcement. Research Scientist I

• A Bachelor's degree (chemical engineering, chemistry, material science or relevant education)

Research Scientist II

• A Master's Degree (chemical engineering, chemistry, material science or relevant education) and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of Master's, OR
• A Master's Degree (chemical engineering, chemistry, material science or relevant education) and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's, OR
• A Doctoral Degree (chemical engineering, chemistry, material science or relevant education).

Candidates should have a PhD in chemical/biomedical engineering, material science, or a related field
