Job Description

We are currently hiring Operational Excellence CO-OP in Pennsylvania

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Co-op to join our Maintenance and Reliability team. This position is ideal for a college student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering with a strong interest in machine reliability, maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement. The Co-op will support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and contribute to projects that enhance equipment performance, reduce downtime, and improve overall plant reliability.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the development and implementation of TPM activities, including Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Focused Improvement.
  • Collect and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities for reliability improvement.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for critical assets.
  • Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop standard work procedures and maintenance documentation.
  • Help maintain and improve CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) data accuracy.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on reducing equipment downtime and increasing OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

Gain hands-on experience in applying mechanical and electrical engineering concepts to improve equipment reliability and support TPM initiatives.



  1. Develop Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

    Learn to collect, interpret, and act on equipment performance data using tools such as RCA, FMEA, and CMMS to drive continuous improvement.
  2. Enhance Communication and Collaboration Abilities

    Work effectively within cross-functional teams to support maintenance planning, documentation, and execution, while developing professional communication skills.



Mentorship Plan: A detailed plan will be created for the Coop.

What you'll Brew



  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in machine reliability, maintenance systems, and manufacturing operations.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective Collaboration: The Co-op communicates clearly and works well with technicians and operations staff, contributing to a positive team dynamic.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrates growth in technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and understanding of maintenance systems throughout the assignment.
  • Deliverables Completed: Assigned tasks and improvement projects are completed on time, with clear documentation and measurable impact.



In accordance with pay transparency laws the rate for this role if hired is $18 - $20 an hour.
