Farnsworth Group is seeking a Process Associate - Entry-Level in the below posting location. In this role, you will work with experienced engineers for a variety of clients in the semiconductor and industrial markets. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in the semiconductor engineering industry as you start your career!


Posting Location for this role: Phoenix, AZ


Job Activities:


  • Engineering design of process water, wastewater, gas and chemical systems
  • Engineering calculations
  • Modeling (hydraulic modeling, piping, or HVAC systems sizing, etc.)
  • CAD/BIM support
  • Preparation of construction documents
  • Engineering support during construction, including field observation and special inspections


Specific Requirements include:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field, required
  • A solid understanding of thermodynamic, fluid flow, and mass balance principles.
  • Engineering In Training (EIT) preferred.
  • 0-3 years of engineering work experience. Intern experience desired, with preference for the design and construction industry.
  • General semiconductor process knowledge, working with wafer facilities desired
  • Experience with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) desired
  • General knowledge of Word, Excel, Acrobat, and Outlook
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office, preferred
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Encourages and supports a safety-oriented culture
  • Positive work ethic
  • Ability to travel 25%
  • Ability to work on an active construction site for extended periods of time
