Position Description:

As an Education Program Coordinator II in Anesthesiology you will coordinate scheduling, grading, site coordination while serving as a point person for student questions for the Anesthesia department's medical student program, under close supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Independently execute institutional or program activities (e.g., educational events, training, learner recruitment, interviews, orientation, schedules, and graduation).
  • Maintain proficiency in accreditation, board, and institutional requirements. Coordinate and monitor activities related to these requirements to ensure full compliance.
  • Support the designated institutional official, Program Director, Department Chair, and other leaders on issues related to the requirements from accreditation agencies, national boards, and affiliates.
  • Serve as primary liaison with learners, faculty, administration, other departments, affiliated institutions, and national organizations.
  • Develop and maintain database(s) to track, schedule, and record scheduling activities related to the institution, program(s) and learners.
  • Provide information, support, and problem solving on a wide range of issues for leaders, faculty, staff, and learners.
  • Coordinate recruitment of preceptors, instructors, and speakers.
  • Coordinate clinical practice sites for students
  • Create brochures, flyers, handbooks, and other educational materials.
  • Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities.
  • Coordinate grade entry in the learning management system and student information systems
  • May monitor program budgets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Knowledge of working with medical students and faculty, learning management systems, technical, business, consultation, project management, and cultural awareness. Customer focus, organized, building trust, communication, critical thinking, team orientated, and influencing skills.

Position Requirements:

Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Required Experience: 3year's
