Material Control Room Operator

Advantage Technical is hiring! Join our team as a Material Control Room Operator and play a key role in ensuring smooth production workflows in the Kitting Room. You'll handle both physical and administrative tasks, guaranteeing accurate and timely issuance and delivery of materials while following FDA and cGMP procedures. Pay & Shift Options

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | $24.30/hr
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM | $24.30/hr
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM | $25.40/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts (shift times may adjust based on business needs)

What You'll Do

• Deliver raw materials to various cleanroom cells and ensure adequate replenishment
• Operate systems, equipment, and software (ERP/SAP) for accurate material tracking
• Perform material pre-issuance tasks, including silicone mixture preparation and siliconizing raw materials
• Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks (training provided if needed)
• Maintain clean, organized, and functional work areas
• Complete end-of-shift cleanup and communicate shift reports to incoming staff
• Assist other departments as needed, including Shipping and Receiving
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to minimize risks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing or warehouse experience; material handling experience preferred but not required
• Basic computer skills; experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics/AX, or ability to learn ERP systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Motivated self-starter who works well independently and on a team
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Forklift operation experience a plus
• Medical device or cleanroom experience is a plus
