Title:Spring 2026 - Co-Op/Alternate - Engineer The TECO Energy Internship & Cooperative Education Program offers college degree-seeking students the opportunity for professional growth while meeting the business needs of the company. The program is an extension of the educational process, providing practical experience to complement formal classroom work. The co-op program recruits students from colleges to give them an opportunity to work in a professional environment related to their field of study. Position Summary/Details: The co-op will support Environmental Services initiatives by working alongside subject matter experts within the department, including: Air (emissions tracking, plant operations/power generation), Water (NPDES permitting, stormwater management systems), Land (Environmental Resource Permitting, storage tank compliance), Waste (solid & hazardous waste management, chemical management, contamination assessment & remediation), Sustainability (Manatee protection/outreach, Blue Carbon, GHG tracking/initiatives, etc.) Accountabilities:As a successful candidate for ourPOSITION, you would:
Physical Location of Co-op:Midtown East Tower3600 Midtown DriveTampa, FL 33607 Working Conditions:Office environment with some field work. Availability:Part - Time (20-30 hours) QUALIFICATIONS: Education: The successful applicant should be enrolled in an accredited university as a college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline.
