Laboratory Animal Care Technician

In this role, you'll play a hands-on part in caring for animals and maintaining a safe, clean, and highly regulated environment. The work you do directly supports groundbreaking research that makes a real difference in the world.

What You'll Do

• Feed, water, and care for animals daily

• Clean and sanitize enclosures, equipment, and work areas

• Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any changes

• Follow clear protocols and keep accurate records of all work

• Support order prep, facility upkeep, and team-based tasks

• Ensure the health and welfare of animals through careful, consistent care

What We're Looking For

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded

• Comfortable in fast-paced, physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs)

• Positive team player with a "jump in and get it done" attitude

• Experience in warehouse, production, sanitation, or farm work is a big plus

Schedule & Pay

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM

• Rotation: Weekend & holiday rotation

• Pay: Starting at $19/hour

• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x rate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• 18 years of age or older

• Basic computer skills (email, MS Office)

• Ability to follow written instructions and work independently or on a team

• Comfortable handling animals and related equipment (training provided)

• Strong attention to detail, quality-driven, and safety-focused

This position may be offered at different levels depending on your experience and education. Pay will adjust accordingly.
