Copper River Technologies is seeking aSystems Engineer to support the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Human Resources Directorate (HRD), providing direct support to the Technology & Data Support Division (TDSD) with Power Platform, SharePoint, and other technology integrations and process automations. This position will be 100% onsite, at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA and reports to the Program Manager. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Assist migration from on-premises Microsoft Dynamics-based CRM to cloud-based CRM.
- Solution Development & Customization:
- Design, develop, and customize innovative SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams solutions leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform. This includes creating Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Dynamics CRM 365, Power BI reports, and utilizing Dataverse to build robust and user-friendly applications.
- Dataverse Management:
- Manage and maintain Dataverse environments, including data modeling, security configuration, and integration with Power Platform solutions to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- SharePoint Online Administration & Support:
- Administer SharePoint Online site collections, encompassing comprehensive permissions management, effective content management strategies, site configuration, and user support. Provide ongoing assistance to SharePoint stakeholders for site content updates, access requests, troubleshooting, and new requirement implementation to ensure continuous business operations.
- Microsoft 365 Integration:
- Configure and maintain seamless integration between SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 applications, such as Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, Dataverse, and OneDrive, ensuring optimal user experience, efficient data flow, and collaborative workflows.
- Power Platform Solution Implementation:
- Design and implement robust and scalable Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to automate business processes, streamline workflows, and drive operational efficiency across the organization. This includes developing technical specifications, configuring systems, testing, and providing end-user training.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
- Proactively troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues related to SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and the Power Platform, including upgrades, migrations, outages, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
- Continuous Learning & Innovation:
- Maintain a current understanding of the latest trends, features, updates, and best practices in Copilot/AI features, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and the Power Platform, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new capabilities to enhance existing solutions, develop innovative approaches, and improve overall system effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Education:
- A bachelor's degree in systems engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience:
- At least five years of expert experience with the applications below. Federal government experience preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated expertise with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Canvas & Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate flows, Dynamics CRM 365, Power Bi reports, Dataverse, OneDrive, CoPilot.
