Coho Integrated Solutions is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Office Clerk to join our team in support of medical operations at the Special Warfare Human Performance Support Group (SWHPSG), located at JBSA Lackland, TX. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of medical support services in a high-performance military environment.

Responsibilities(include but are not limited to):



  • Assist in the creation and tracking of patient appointments, check in patients using MHS Genesis, assist in referrals and run reports such as utilization, missed appointments, trend analysis, and other reports as needed to support clinic and organization operations and performance monitoring.
  • Update patient progress on patient/student trackers, including internal trackers and systems of record, such as ASIMS.
  • Aid in creating and/or putting together waiver packages for submission, including but not limited to gathering documents, checking medical requirements against established military and flight/jump standards, and assisting with formatting of documents according to military standards (e.g. the Tongue & Quill).
  • Will assist with other administrative tasks that are not directly related to medical care, including but not limited to record keeping, assisting with tracking credentials and training requirements, assisting with keeping meeting minutes and agendas, sending calendar invites, and providing administrative support to staff as directed.
  • Greets patients/visitors at a clinic front desk; checks in patients for patient encounter.
  • Answers main office phone line.
  • Obtains documentation as requested by healthcare providers.
  • Conducts end-of-day process at close of business and resolves any delinquent or pending appointments in computer system.


Essential Job Requirements:



  • Citizenship:

    • Proof of US Citizenship is required to work on this contract.


  • Education/Certifications:

    • High School Degree General Educational Development (GED) equivalency and medical terminology.


  • Required Knowledge/Experience:

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is highly desirable.
