Job Summary:
VersaTech is hiring a
QA Tester to ensure the quality and compliance of HUD's AMSS modules. This role validates system functionality, accessibility, and readiness for deployment.
Salary: $110,000 to $125,000 depending on experience. Discretionary annual bonus based on performance.
Location: Washington, D.C. metro area (Hybrid)
What You'll Do:
- Create and execute test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, and Section 508 compliance testing.
- Track and manage defects in JIRA/Zephyr.
- Support HUD during UAT sessions.
What Success Looks Like:
- Thorough test coverage with minimal defects in production.
- Verified Section 508 compliance for all modules.
- Clear QA reporting for HUD stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years QA/testing experience in federal IT projects.
- Certifications: ISTQB or CSTE (preferred); Section 508 Trusted Tester a plus.
- Familiarity with COTS/workflow solutions (Appian preferred).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Technologies You'll Use: Appian GAM(S), Selenium, JIRA Zephyr, TestRail, Section 508 tools (JAWS, WAVE).
