Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Provide legal support in land acquisition and closing transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Conduct thorough due diligence on real estate transactions, including title reviews, zoning regulations, and environmental assessments.

• Assist legal team in negotiating and preparing purchase and sale agreements, various service agreements, loan documents for construction financing, and joint venture agreements.

• Support legal and other company business units in closing complicated real estate transactions in multiple jurisdictions.

Non-Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the State Bar of Texas and in good standing.

• 3+ years of experience practicing real estate law, with a focus on transactions related to the acquisition, disposition, and development of multifamily projects.

• Proven experience in negotiating and drafting complex real estate financing documents.

• Strong understanding of legal concepts associated with land closing, due diligence, and transaction documents.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
