Job Title: Master Data Analyst Duration: 6 Months Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM Location: North Chicago, IL 60064 - Onsite Description: Data Clean Up Specialist in Access Control is responsible for identifying, correcting, and streamlining user and system access control data in multiple systems. Core duties include: Responsibilities: * Analyze, audit, and clean access control data to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Identify inconsistencies or duplicates and implement efficient solutions for data integrity. * Work with IT/security teams to validate user permissions and remediate outdated or excess access. * Generate reports and dashboards on data clean-up progress and issues. * Auditing access logs * Alignment of data between multiple systems * Detecting inconsistencies or outdated entries * Removing obsolete accounts or permissions * Ensuring access records are up-to-date * Supporting compliance by preparing accurate documentation. The role often requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with access control tools like Active Directory, and a solid understanding of security best practices to maintain data integrity and minimize access risks. Recommended Education: * Bachelor's degree in: Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field experiance. Recommended Experience: * 2+ years experience with data analysis, preferably in access control or IT security environments. * Proficiency with data management tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, or similar). * Experience with access management systems (e.g., Active Directory, Genetec, Lennel or similar platforms) is a plus. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Teams interviews Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with IT lead to facilitate local data extracts. Map legacy data from ERP AX Microsoft Dynamics to SAP fields. Analyzes data errors, resolves root causes with initiative and proposes problems from end-to-end. Use MS excel to document the results of his/her analysis and present the same to project team for corrective action. Extensively utilize Microsoft Excel functionalities and formulae (e.g. VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLES etc) to automate various reports and analysis required periodically. Cleanse data in legacy system & work with IT coordinators to enrich missing fields. Follow up on open items related to Master Data. Review Pre-Load Reports and Post Load Reports for Pre-Q and Q. Follow up on issues between IT and Business. Track and report the status of the identified corrective action items. Qualifications: BA/BS in Finance or accounting, 3-5 years of work experience in Financial Audit, FP&A, Accounting or Consulting. Strong MS excel skills in data recording, analysis and reporting. Prior SAP experience desirable but not required. Strong analytical skills coupled with thoroughness and attention to detail is desired. Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively gather relevant information from business groups. Ability to work with people across multiple work-streams. Must be able to work independently and proactively to take initiative to solve problems quickly. Extreme attention to detail. Affinity for organizing data and information in ways that are logical and useful. Discretion when dealing with confidential information. Efficient work ethic when working on large projects with aggressive deadlines. Previous experience in this field is an asset, but a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a great work ethic are must-haves. Experience Level = 3-5 Years |
