Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation seeks Electric High Voltage Product Design Engineer III based out of office at 552 Hyatt St, Gaffney, SC 29341. Hybrid position whereby employee will work both from home and from aforementioned office address. Hence, employee must live within reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address. Position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel per year. Position responsible for supporting Specialty Vehicles eMobility Group as a Sr Engineer for ePowertrain Systems, working with feature owners and component owners for software and controls implementation; leading high level control strategy for the eDrive systems; ensuring all features are implemented into various ECUs, and cohesive software and network communication between components, among other duties.
