BID/JOB ANNOUNCEMENT Timekeeper-CPD Office of Public Safety Administration Number of Positions: 14 (Additional vacancies possible pending budget approval) Salary: $55,344/Year This position is open to the public and all current city employees covered under the City's Collective Bargaining Agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5. LOCATION: Office of Public Safety Administration Various Locations City Wide SHIFT: Monday - Friday HOURS: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Hours may vary depending on location and business need) SALARY: $55,344/Yr (Non-negotiable) THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE Qualifications
Qualifications Two years of progressively responsible timekeeping or payroll preparation experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Selection Criteria This position requires applicants to successfully pass a skills assessment. Applicants who successfully pass the skills assessment will be invited to an interview. Test results will be sent out by the Department of Human Resources after the test results have been analyzed and compiled. The interviewed candidate(s) receiving a passing score on the test and possessing the qualifications as determined by the interview will be selected. Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following:

Department of Human Resource staff will review applications after the final posting date. Staff will follow any and all required Employment/Hiring Plan provisions, federal, state and local laws, and Collective Bargaining Agreements when applicable.
