Riverside Overview Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country's most challenging technical problems.

Position Overview The Secure and Resilient Systems (SRS) group at Riverside Research manages a diverse portfolio of cybersecurity research programs for government and internal customers. Our team's expertise spans software architectures, algorithms, cryptanalysis, cyber operations, formal methods, and more. While our scientists and principal investigators (PIs) focus on the technical breakthroughs, strong program management ensures these projects run smoothly and successfully. As a Junior Project Manager, you will support the operational side of our research projects. This includes helping track budgets and schedules, coordinating staffing resources and subcontracts, and keeping communication clear between project teams, support departments (contracts, finance), and external stakeholders. Examples of the types of tasks you may assist with include:
Coordinating with PIs and the technical team on deadlines for customer deliverables
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in program management within the national security and cybersecurity research domain. The right candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools-especially Excel-is highly valued. Global Comp $75,000 - $120,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
