Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Director, EG&SP Growth Markets Location: Hampton, NJ Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Director, EG&SP Growth Markets to join our team! Highly influential leadership role responsible for development of the strategy for electronic gases and related equipment for use in select markets beyond semiconductor and solar ("Adjacent Markets"). Such markets to include ceramic matrix composites, advanced technical ceramics, and alternate substrates. Targeted industry and strategic customer engagement will be a significant role activity, as well as development of market research, analysis of market needs, competitive trends, developing and launching new products/services, creating promotional strategies and materials and driving product sales and profits through cross-functional collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. The Adjacent Market Manager shall also work closely with the R&D organization to validate customer needs and opportunities, and commercialize new offerings, as well as develop ideas for new products and services for these segments. The position will lead the appropriate global, national, and local sales organizations in winning new business in these segments, as well as train and assist in developing strategies for local accounts penetration. This role will require a deep understanding of the Adjacent Markets and customer technology roadmaps, while understanding how to leverage the current product portfolio for sustained and future growth. The successful candidate should have detailed sales and marketing experience with technical products and services to the Adjacent Markets. Candidate should possess knowledge and experience of the decision-making process and critical decision makers within some or all of these markets. This position reports to the Business Development Director, Electronic Gases. Current Scope: $5M Revenue (Estimated) What we offer you! * Competitive compensation * Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision and more) * 401(k) retirement savings plan * Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO) * Employee discount programs * Career growth opportunities * Additional compensation may vary depending on the position and organizational level Salary Range- $161,850 to $ 237,380 (commensurate with industry experience) What you will be doing: * Develop the strategic marketing strategy for Adjacent Markets through input from trade shows, industry conferences, and direct customer interaction. * Identify areas for growth and create strategic product line roadmaps to help drive adoption of the product and value-added features. * Lead business activities with the global R&D group to develop new and step-out product opportunities in the Adjacent Market space. * Develop tactical marketing plans for product lines through market research, competitive analysis and sources of supply and costing that ensures fulfilment of business budget & product sales targets and long-term sustainable growth. * Bridge the activities of sales, product management, engineering, purchasing and operations. * Lead the appropriate sales teams to penetrate new accounts, develop product and pricing strategies, and respond to RFQs and other customer product requests. * Work with the sourcing group to assure contracts are in place to protect the supply chain and plan alternative sourcing strategies as applicable to Adjacent Market customers. * As recognized expert within organization, researches and resolves issues relative to technical questions, pricing, proposals, status, market data and varied complex issues. * Participate in yearly sales budget planning. Qualifications
What makes you great:
